VEARK SK01: The single piece santoku knife

After successfully launching of the first VEARK CK01 single piece chef's knife now we have the second part from this story, the single piece santoku knife inspired by the traditional Japanese kitchen knife. VEARK took the essence of that blade shape and adapted it to their design style. It‘s a bit shorter than our CK01 and not as pointy. The main difference is the way you cut. A traditional Chef‘s knife has a more centred balance and is used in a rocking motion. The Santoku on the other hand has a balance point that sits further back and is traditionally used more in a chopping style cut.
In the end it‘s all about personal preference. They both are excellent kitchen knives and are a pleasure to work with. VEARK knives are made in the traditional knife forging town of Solingen Germany. Experienced craftsmen use all their skill, to produce knives of highest quality.

The SK01 santoku knife is now officially launched. VEARK is seliling their new SK01 at 50% for the first 50 customers and 25% for the next 75 people. Also the CK01 will be at a 25% discount for the first 75 orders.
