SALONE DEL AUTOMOBILE’ was last week revealed during Milan Design Week 2016. A unique travelling show staged inside Broom’s industrial delivery van which was driven all the way from the design studio HQ in Shoreditch, East London to the vibrant city of Milan, the van doors opened to reveal a dramatic surreal recreation of a traditional Italian palazzo and showcase the new lighting range ‘Optical’.
Named one of the 15 best shows during Milan Design Week 2016, Broom created a totally different compact and unique mobile installation. The interior - all in Lee Broom signature grey - with its ornate columns and architrave is an unexpected backdrop for the graphic new monochrome lighting collection. Highlighted by an illuminated floor, the result was a show-stopping moment.
