Greenwich Street Loft by Turett Collaborative Architects

The complete renovation of this penthouse loft at 463 Greenwich Street in the Northern Tribeca Historic District also included the addition of a rooftop pavilion and 1,500 square feet of exterior living space. Located in a former warehouse that was converted to a residential co-op in the 1990's, the loft had previously been used as a painting studio. It was purchased in 2010 by our clients who were drawn to the large undivided space with expansive views of the Hudson to the west and lower Manhattan to the south. The loft's dramatically high ceilings were unusually sloped, but TTC utilized the space to introduce mezzanines above other programmed space.
